On my second try I instead used Windows Explorer to copy the ebook to the /NOOK/My Files folder. This DID NOT WORK as the book never showed up on my NOOK. (I always use my OverDrive account.) Initially I tried copying the library book to my NOOK using ADE. adobe-digital-editions folder, which I deleted. I connected the NOOK to the Windows machine and saw a leftover. On the Windows machine I installed ADE 3.0.1 and downloaded the library ebook from the OverDrive web page so it showed up in ADE. I closed ADE and in the Finder I deleted the Digital Editions folder on the NOOK. I got it to work by using my Windows machine.įirst on the Mac I used ADE 4.5.x to remove the borrowed ebook and all other ebooks that were managed by ADE from the NOOK.
